Several important events are coming up, so please take a moment to mark your calendars. The most important date to remember is Caucus Night on March 17, and we encourage everyone to plan ahead so you can participate. The Logan District 2 Special Election will be held on January 17, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Ridgeline High School, with precinct leaders and delegates for Logan 2 expected to attend, and a caucus training immediately following.

Our Lincoln Day Dinner will take place on February 7, 2026, at the USU Ballroom, featuring guest speakers Kimberly Ells and Jason Chaffetz, with limited seating available. Throughout January, we will also hold several caucus training sessions to help everyone prepare and ensure credentialing goes smoothly. In short, get ready now, March 17 caucus is coming up fast.

SPECIAL ELECTION FOR LOGAN DISTRICT 2

Barbara Tidwell has stepped down from her County Council Seat for the Logan 2 District. We need to place her interim in to finish her term until November. As of now only JoAnn Bennett has run for the position.

The Election or affirmation will be on Jan 17, 2026 at 10 am. It will be held at Ridgeline High School. All Precinct leaders and delegates for that District are required to attend. We will be holding a Caucus training afterwards for anyone who wishes to attend. That will be an opportune time to get all our computer devices prepared for credentialing for the March 17 Caucus.

LINCOLN DAV DINNER - Saturday, February 7,2026

Kimberly Ells and Jason Chaffetz will be speaking at our beautiful Lincoln Day Dinner on Feb. 7, 2026, at the USU Ballroom. This will also be a time to meet all the Candidates who will be running for office in March. Please get your tickets quickly, as space is limited!

JASON CHAFFETZ served as the Utah Representative to Congress for the 3rd Congressional District from 2009 to 2017. He is currently a Fox News contributor, hosts the "Jason in the House" podcast, and is a distinguished fellow at the Government Accountability Institute and honorary chairman of the Oversight Project at the Heritage Foundation.
