The recent increase in the school board tax is being sold as a REQUIREMENT by the Legislator. However it is completely opposite! The Legislators have given the School Board record amounts of funding this last year. The Board is increasing our taxes for an opt in program they choose to do with the State of Utah for additional funding. Cache County Fair is every year at the Fairgrounds in Logan. It is August 5-8. It's a major event in Cache Valley! Wow, the support we received at Lewiston's parade was absolutely phenomenal! In all my years with the GOP, this experience was truly unmatched. A huge thank you to Lewiston!! We had Mike Peterson's team with us, along with MANY others from the precincts who joined in! I swear, we were picking up more people as the parade went on! It was incredible! The flag stretched across the road was absolutely breathtaking!

Clarkston Pony Days Parade and Fair The Clarkston parade and fair was one of the absolute best in the valley! The beautiful flag spanned the road as the streets were thick with friends and family. We had so many people cheering in support of the GOP. It was truly a wonderful experience! We were also delighted to have Mike Peterson, along with Clarkston Precinct leadership Chad Thompson and Lanae Randall, join us with their families for this festive occasion.

Dane Murray was at the Smithfield Health Days campaigning for County Attorney in the Primary Election on June 23. He had a majestic eagle on his truck and quite the candy passing crew! Smithfield Health Days had a great turn out and a wonderful celebration!

Brett Chambers and family had a wonderful showing at the Smithfield Health Days parade! They had signs, shirts and a cool blue Mustang! Smithfield Health Days was May 9 down Main Street in Smithfield. It was a marvelous turnout and experience for everyone!

This special election is unique because we are not voting for our interim but selecting three nominees to present to the County Council. Several important events are coming up, so please take a moment to mark your calendars. The most important date to remember is Caucus Night on March 17, and we encourage everyone to plan ahead so you can participate.

A vacancy has opened on the Cache County Council for Logan Seat 2, and state law requires that it be filled for the rest of the current term, which runs through December 2026. Only residents of the district are eligible to run. Logan Seat 2 covers the northwest portion of Logan, roughly bounded by 2nd North to 6th East.
