Meet the USU College Republicans Officers
Utah State University’s College Republicans give Aggies a place to talk about the issues, connect with fellow students, and get involved in the political process. We’re proud to introduce the students leading the chapter, including its newest officer, Events Coordinator Felicity Parker!
Ethan Harper, President
Ethan is a Law & Constitutional Studies major. He grew up in Georgia and came to USU after a church mission in Brazil. Besides leading College Republicans, he serves as vice president of Turning Point, is an ambassador for the American Conservation Coalition, and works as a student journalist. He’s passionate about aviation, politics, hunting, and history, and after graduation he plans to pursue a career in the US Air Force and eventually politics.
Samuel Porter, Executive Director
Samuel is studying accounting and has lived in Utah his whole life. He loves to learn new things and take on challenges. In his words: “I believe it's important to be involved, and I hope to influence others to make their voices heard!”
Rahul Chattopadhyay, Secretary
Why Rahul joined: “I joined College Republicans to preserve economic liberty and the 2nd Amendment, and to protect law and order in our nation. I want to keep America great for future generations.”
Andrea Negoescu
Andrea is a senior from New York, majoring in Economics with minors in Finance, History, and Business. She’s active on campus with USU College Republicans, USU ACC, and USU Turning Point, where she enjoys creating events, building connections, and engaging with her community. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career at the intersection of economics, business, and public service.
Felicity Parker, Events Coordinator
Felicity is a freshman from California, majoring in nursing with plans to become a Nurse Practitioner. She has loved getting involved in politics both in and outside of school, and she loves making connections and getting others involved in conversations and activities about politics, “to hopefully educate our generation with what’s going on in our country.”
