About the event
The Utah State Legislative Session concludes on March 2, 2026. This marks the end of the period when lawmakers can introduce and pass bills for the year. During the session, legislators debate budgets, education policy, transportation, taxation, public safety, water, and many other issues that directly affect Utah families and communities. Once the session ends, passed bills move to the Governor for signature or veto, and state agencies begin planning for implementation. If you are new to the process, this is the point where proposed legislation stops advancing and attention shifts to understanding what passed, what failed, and how new laws may impact daily life in Cache County and across Utah.
