Our county held firm at a time when many parts of the state and country had very different outcomes. We did this because we have a strong Republican hold and are centered on our platform values.

Thank you to every voter who returned a ballot, to the volunteers who knocked doors, made calls and stood with signs, and to every candidate who put their name forward to serve. We are grateful to Rep. Jason Thompson, Council Chair Sandi Goodlander and Council Member JoAnn Bennett for their service to Cache County.
We congratulate Rep.-elect Patrick Belmont and Councilmembers-elect Mark Nafziger and Allison Goulais, who take office in January 2027.
We look forward to working across the aisle as we continue our work to strengthen and support our county toward good long-term decisions.
