Cache County Republicans Hold Firm in 2026 General Election
LOGAN, Utah — Cache County Republicans retained 3 of 4 Utah House seats, the State Senate seat, 5 of 7 Cache County Council seats, and the Congressional seat in the Nov. 3, 2026 general election.
"Our county held firm at a time when many parts of the state and country saw very different outcomes," said Cache County Republican Party Chair Natalie Levi. "We did this because we have a strong Republican base and stay centered on our platform values. The voters did their part, and now we'll do ours."
Republican winners serving Cache County include Congressman Blake Moore, Sen. Scott Sandall, Rep. Thomas Peterson, Rep. Mike Petersen, House Majority Leader Rep. Casey Snider, and County Council Members Kathryn Beus and Mark Hurd. Sen. Chris Wilson continues his current term.
The party thanked Rep. Jason Thompson, Council Chair Sandi Goodlander and Council Member JoAnn Bennett for their service. It also congratulated Rep.-elect Patrick Belmont and Councilmembers-elect Mark Nafziger and Allison Goulais, who take office in January 2027.
"We look forward to working across the aisle as we continue our work to strengthen and support Cache County toward good long-term decisions," Levi said.
Results are unofficial until the county canvass.
