Utah's early ballots are pouring in, and Republicans are showing up strong. With one week until Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3, here is where returned ballots stand by party registration, and how to make sure your own ballot counts.

Early Voting Results graphic: Republicans returned 58% of Cache County and 51.9% of Utah ballots as of Oct. 26, 2026; ballots must be received by 8 PM Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Republicans Lead Early Ballot Returns

As of Oct. 26, 2026, according to civicAPI.org:

  • Statewide: 100,223 of 193,151 returned ballots (52%) came from registered Republicans.

  • Cache County: 4,726 of 8,145 returned ballots (58%) came from registered Republicans.

  • Salt Lake County: 30,333 returned ballots from registered Republicans, compared with 24,973 from registered Democrats.

Cache County is leading the way, and that's something to be proud of. But a lead is only a lead until every ballot is counted. Early leads don't win elections. Ballots in the box do.

We need every Republican vote in. If your ballot is still on the counter, today's the day.

Go get your ballot in! Every vote makes a difference.

It's Too Late to Mail: Use a Drop Box or Vote in Person

Ballots must be received by the county by 8 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 3, so it is now too late to rely on the mail. Instead, drop your signed ballot in any official Cache County drop box or vote in person. Find every drop box and in-person voting location on the Cache County voting locations page.

Don't Skip the School Board Races

School board races are nonpartisan and sit further down the ballot, but they shape our children's classrooms for years to come. The Cache County Republican Party supports these school board candidates:

  • Aaron C. Ritchey, Cache County School Board District 2 (Nonpartisan): a small-business owner, former school board member and longtime youth-sports coach. His priorities are family values education, fiscal responsibility and experience.

  • Mylind Fawcett, Cache County School Board District 7 (Nonpartisan): a father of five whose children all attend Cache County School District. He works as an agriculture portfolio manager and is running on Families First, Students Always, and Responsible Financial Leadership.

Finish Strong, Cache County

Utah is a proud red state because neighbors like you show up. Fill out your ballot, sign it, and get it into a drop box, or vote in person, before 8 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Then remind a friend, a family member or a neighbor to do the same.
