KVNU Airs Snider-Romero Civil Debate Highlights

On Monday, October 12, 2026, House Majority Leader Casey Snider (R-House District 5, Paradise) joined House Minority Leader Angela Romero (D-Salt Lake City) at Utah State University's Eccles Conference Center for USU's Across the Aisle civil debate. KVNU's For The People carried highlights from that conversation as its Oct. 13 Hour 1 broadcast.

USU's Brian Steed moderated. The two leaders modeled civil discourse while discussing public lands, housing supply, the economy and taxes. Rep. Snider also mentioned the Cache County school district property-tax increase.
