Chair Natalie Levi: Four Years of Cache GOP Leadership

Strengthening Cache County

Cache County is a place of small towns and strong neighbors, from Lewiston and Clarkston in the north to Wellsville and Hyrum in the south, with Logan and Utah State University at its heart. It is a community of families, farms, students and volunteers who care about where they live and how it is governed. Natalie Levi loves this county and its people, and she serves because she believes that community grows stronger when every Republican has a real voice, when the party stays true to its principles, and when neighbors are part of choosing their own leaders. Year after year she has given her evenings, weekends and late nights to that work, showing up at the parades, trainings and meetings that keep the party strong. Her work as Vice Chair and Chair has been about one goal: strengthening Cache County.
Natalie Levi has helped lead the Cache County Republican Party since 2022: three years as Vice Chair (2022–2025), then as Chair since May 2025.
Natalie Levi was elected Chair of the Cache County Republican Party at the Organizing Convention on May 3, 2025, at Green Canyon High School. In her acceptance speech she asked local Republicans to "make a determination to be part of the solution, not part of the problem." (KVNU, Herald Journal, convention record)
As Vice Chair (2022–2025)
Her years as Vice Chair were spent in the work most people never see: meetings, trainings, parades and long caucus nights. She gave that time gladly, often late into the evening, because she believed in the people she was serving.
Before becoming Chair, Natalie Levi served three years as the party's Vice Chair under Chair Shellie Giddings (one year) and then Chair Geoff Cox (two years).
Helped run the Sept. 24, 2022 Central Committee special election (118 credentialed)
Took part in the 2022 Flag Day Program at Green Canyon High School (June 14) and the 2022 Cache County Fair
Attended 7 State Central Committee meetings between June 2023 and February 2025, including the June 24, 2023 meeting in Delta
Took part in the 2023 Lincoln Day Dinner (Mar. 11, 2023) and the Cache County Fair (2023)
A key organizer of Cache County's 2024 Republican Presidential Preference Poll on caucus night, Mar. 5, 2024. All 78 of 78 precincts reported, and 4,060 votes were cast: Donald Trump 2,129 (52.4%), Nikki Haley 1,890 (46.6%) and Ryan Binkley 41 (1.0%). Statewide, Trump won 48,350 of 85,797 votes (56.4%) (Utah GOP final results)
Joined the 2024 caucus orientation and the 2024 State and TARS Convention (Apr. 27, 2024)
Helped with the Fall 2024 Central Committee meeting (Sept. 26, 2024)
Represented the party at parades including Smithfield Health Days (May 14, 2022), Newton Days (July 23, 2022), Mendon Pioneer Day (July 22, 2023) and USU Homecoming (2022, 2023 and 2024)
Giving Cache County Republicans a Voice
The heart of her leadership is simple: every Republican in Cache County deserves to be heard. It is a conviction she carries into every meeting, training and late night.
Chair Natalie Levi has worked to make sure Cache County Republicans have a voice in every county and state office. She has done it in three ways: the Legislative Collaboration Committees (LCC), regular communication with voters, and leadership that puts decisions in the hands of precinct chairs and delegates.
Principles over candidates. Chair Levi teaches that the Republican platform's principles are the party's strength: "principles over candidates."
A committee for every House district. In fall 2025 Chair Levi launched the Legislative Collaboration Committees, a new program that connects precinct leaders and delegates directly with their state representatives (cachegop.com/lcc). She held LCC trainings district by district:
House District 2 (Rep. Mike Petersen): Oct. 16 and Dec. 17, 2025, Logan Library
House District 3 (Rep. Jason Thompson): Oct. 27, 2025, Logan Library
House District 5 (Rep. Casey Snider): Nov. 20, 2025, at Rep. Snider's barn
These sessions came before the 2026 Legislative Session, and she invited members to serve as legislative captains.
Regular communication with voters. Chair Levi is the only Cache GOP chair to publish a regular monthly newsletter, keeping party business, meetings and votes open to members.
52 email campaigns since May 2025, covering monthly newsletters, caucus and convention notices, and Get Out the Vote messages
A list of 27,819 Republican contacts
The Caucus Night Reminder reached 3,016 inboxes, with 1,802 unique opens
145 social posts in 2026
Leadership that trusts the delegates. Chair Levi ran a County Executive special election (463 credentialed), an interim County Attorney straw poll (144 credentialed), and a 2026 nominating convention where delegates chose the party's nominees. "By supporting convention-only candidates," she said, "we are ensuring that our nominees are selected by the dedicated precinct chairs and delegates who took the time to get to know the candidates" (Herald Journal).
Caucus candidates on the ballot. Every caucus candidate, meaning those who won at the April 11, 2026 county convention or through a Central Committee vote, is now the Republican nominee headed to the general election: 12 of 12. Eleven won outright at convention, covering 8 county offices, House Districts 2 and 3, and Rep. Casey Snider (79.68% in House District 5), with no primary needed. In the County Attorney race, J. Brett Chambers led the Central Committee straw poll and then won the June 23 primary with 58.14% (state results, Cache Valley Daily). In 2025, delegates also filled the County Executive seat through the special election Chair Levi ran.
Special Elections
When an office came open, Chair Levi made sure the people's delegates, not back rooms, chose who would serve next.
County Executive, 2025. David Zook resigned effective Sept. 8, 2025. Chair Levi announced the vacancy and the filing process on Aug. 17 (press release). On Sept. 11 at Ridgeline High School she ran a seven-candidate special election. 463 delegates were credentialed, and they chose H. George Daines on the third ballot, 229 to 195 (Cache Valley Daily).
Interim County Attorney, March 2026. At the Mar. 7 Central Committee meeting, 144 members were credentialed and 137 votes were cast in a non-binding straw poll, with J. Brett Chambers leading at 63. The party then sent three nominees, J. Brett Chambers, Dane Murray and Chris Daines, to the County Council (Cache Valley Daily).
County Attorney Candidate Debates
Voters deserve to hear from candidates face to face before they decide, and Chair Levi has worked hard to give them that chance.
Chair Levi hosted multiple County Attorney candidate debates and forums during the 2026 race, including:
Feb. 12, 2026, Utah State University: a forum with J. Brett Chambers, Dane Murray and Chris Daines, organized by the Cache County GOP and USU Republicans (KVNU coverage, video)
Mar. 7, 2026: a meet-the-candidates session before the Central Committee's interim vote
Mar. 19, 2026, Ridgeline High School: a Q&A for delegates and precinct leadership (cachegop.com)
Chambers went on to win the June 23 primary, 58.14% to 41.86%.
Caucus: Ease and Preparedness

On caucus night, neighbors gather in schools and libraries across the county to choose their own leaders. Chair Levi works so that night runs smoothly for every one of them, and the preparation starts months ahead, one training at a time.
Trainings Chair Levi ran:
June 19 and June 30, 2025, Logan Library: Precinct Leadership Host Training on reaching neighbors, communication and caucus representation
July 17, 2025, Logan Library: Precinct Leadership Host Training
Oct. 16, 2025, Logan Library: LCC precinct training, House District 2 (North Logan, Hyde Park, Smithfield)
Oct. 27, 2025, Logan Library: LCC precinct training, House District 3 (Richmond, Cove, Logan)
Nov. 20, 2025: LCC precinct training, House District 5
Dec. 17, 2025, Logan Library: LCC training, House District 2
January 2026: mandatory precinct-leader caucus trainings in every legislative district, covering new precinct boundaries and the new offline credentialing system and precinct portal
Jan. 17, 2026, Ridgeline High School: Logan 2 district caucus training
Mar. 7, 2026, Spring Central Committee: "Training for Caucus: Credentialing and Data Reporting," with printed caucus packets for every precinct leader
Fall 2026: an online "Precinct Roles" training for precinct leaders
She also took part in the Dec. 16, 2025 statewide caucus training and prepared the county's caucus training presentation.
Caucus lead-up. Precinct leaders received a door-hanger design contest, with the "Golden Door Hanger" award presented at the Mar. 7 Central Committee meeting. In the final week, a step-by-step series covered the caucus packet, the credentialing sheet, precinct maps, an FAQ and a caucus-day QR check-in. Voters could find their caucus location on precinctportal.org (KVNU).
Chair Levi told KVNU that caucus night is "the grassroots foundation of the party... where neighbors organize, discuss issues and select the people who help determine party leadership and nominees."
Results on time. Caucus night was Mar. 17. Elected delegates were in place for the Apr. 11 Nominating Convention at Ridgeline High School, where 489 ballots were cast in the first round of the County Attorney race. Rep. Casey Snider won 153 of 218 House District 5 ballots and went straight to the general election ballot (Cache Valley Daily). The party released results the evening after the convention, and Chair Levi called it "a powerful display of Republican unity and the strength of our caucus system" (Herald Journal).
Central Committee and State Central Committee

The Central Committee is where precinct leaders from every corner of the county come together to do the party's business, and more of them are showing up. Chair Levi takes pride in every one of them who gives up an evening to be there.
Central Committee attendance, from the minutes on the Minutes page:
Sept. 24, 2022, special election: 118 credentialed
Sept. 26, 2024, Fall Central Committee: 83 credentialed
May 3, 2025, Spring Central Committee (right after the Organizing Convention, which had 390 credentialed): 158 credentialed
Sept. 11, 2025, County Executive special election and Fall Central Committee, held the same night to save significant expense: 463 credentialed
Mar. 7, 2026, Spring Central Committee and interim County Attorney vote: 144 credentialed
Oct. 15, 2026, Fall Central Committee at Mt. Logan Middle School, with 10 bylaw proposals on the agenda (upcoming)
Turnout at the Central Committee meetings and special elections she has run (158, 463 and 144 credentialed) is well above the 2022 and 2024 meetings (118 and 83).
State Central Committee. As County Chair she is a voting member of the State Central Committee, and she has attended nearly every State Central Committee meeting since becoming chair.
Campaigns and Get Out the Vote
Good candidates only win when neighbors turn out, so the party works to reach every Republican household. Chair Levi keeps at it right up to Election Day.
The 2026 Get Out the Vote program includes a kickoff email (Oct. 6) and a "Ballots Arriving" email (Oct. 12), which reached 5,900 and 5,996 inboxes. It also includes candidate spotlights and town halls and meet-and-greets for Republican candidates.
Precinct leaders were asked on Oct. 5 to help turn out their precincts.
Postcard mailers to about 18,070 Republican households are planned.
Door hangers supported caucus turnout in February 2026.
Supporting Youth Groups
The next generation is learning how self-government works, and Chair Levi wants every young Republican to have a place to start. Few parts of the work mean more to her.
Chair Levi has supported and strengthened the county's Republican youth groups: USU College Republicans, the USU chapter of Turning Point USA, and the Cache County Teenage Republicans (TARS).
USU College Republicans. Chair Levi has supported the chapter through its leadership transitions with mentoring, funding and ongoing support. In October 2026, cachegop.com introduced the chapter's officers in "Meet the USU College Republicans Officers": President Ethan Harper, Executive Director Samuel Porter, Secretary Rahul Chattopadhyay, Andrea Negoescu, and newest officer Felicity Parker as Events Coordinator. The post closes: "Welcome aboard, Felicity, and thank you to all of these students for stepping up to lead!" The party gives the chapter its own officer page at cachegop.com/aggies and lists it as an affiliated club on the Leadership page.
Feb. 7, 2026: USU College Republicans took part in the Lincoln Day Dinner at USU.
Feb. 12, 2026: the Cache County GOP and USU Republicans co-organized a County Attorney candidate debate at USU (KVNU).
Sept. 26, 2026: the party's USU Homecoming Parade entry included "Parade Admiral" Jayden D. Laursen.
Oct. 5, 2026: Chair Levi joined College Republicans President Ethan Harper on KVNU's "For The People" to discuss a surge in youth engagement (episode).
Turning Point USA at USU. Several College Republicans officers are also Turning Point leaders. Ethan Harper is the chapter's vice president, and Andrea Negoescu is active in USU Turning Point. Chair Levi has supported Turning Point at USU with mentoring, funding and ongoing support.
Teenage Republicans (TARS). TARS holds monthly events, and its members help at party events, where they learn how the party's processes work. The party maintains a TARS page with registration, hosted a TARS Movie Night on Nov. 6, 2025, and heard a TARS report at the 2026 Nominating Convention.
Website
A party that wants people involved has to make it easy for them to find their way in. Chair Levi put in the hours to make that happen.
Chair Levi rebuilt cachegop.com. The site now has a new home page and menu, Legislators and Candidates pages, a Get Out the Vote section, an events calendar, organized blog categories, search optimization, and posted minutes, agendas and bylaw proposals.
Social Media and Communications
Staying connected means meeting Republicans where they are, in their inboxes and on their phones, every week of the year.
145 social posts on Facebook and Instagram between Feb. 8 and Oct. 10, 2026 (74 on Facebook, 71 on Instagram)
52 email campaigns between May 3, 2025 and Oct. 12, 2026, covering monthly newsletters, caucus training, convention updates, event invitations and Get Out the Vote
An email list of 27,819 Republican contacts, organized by district, plus a 310-member Central Committee list
High-reach messages include the Caucus Night Reminder (3,016 delivered, 1,802 unique opens) and the November 2025 Cache GOP Statement (3,561 delivered, 2,262 opens)
Building the Party Brand: Parades and Events
Some of the best moments of the year come on parade routes, waving to neighbors from Lewiston to Wellsville and handing candy to the kids lining Main Street. Summer after summer, Chair Levi is there, and these are the days that remind her why she does this work.

Parades. For each of the last four years, Chair Levi has attended the county's major parades. Recent dates include:

In the Media
Telling Cache County's story means showing up on local radio and in local papers to explain what the party is doing and why. Chair Levi is proud to be that voice.
Radio. On Oct. 5, 2026, Chair Levi was a guest on KVNU's "For The People" with host Jason Williams, alongside school board candidate Aaron Ritchie and USU College Republicans President Ethan Harper (episode). KVNU has also hosted and broadcast Cache GOP candidate debates during election seasons. It covered the party's Feb. 12, 2026 County Attorney forum and announced it on air (Feb. 10, 2026).

Looking Ahead
The work of strengthening Cache County is never finished. The general election on Nov. 3, 2026 is next, followed by a new legislative session, new caucuses, and new neighbors stepping up to lead. Chair Levi will keep showing up, as she always has. She is proud of what Cache County Republicans have built together, and she is grateful to the volunteers, precinct chairs, delegates, Central Committee members and young Republicans who give their evenings and Saturdays to the party. Their service is what keeps the grassroots strong, and it is the reason the party's future in Cache County is bright.
Background
Her love for this work did not begin in Cache County. Long before she led the party here, she was already giving her time to young Republicans and to the people around her.
Before her party leadership roles in Cache County, Natalie Levi spent ten years as a Teenage Republicans (TARS) advisor in Davis County. In Cache County she served on the Executive Committee under Chair Chris Booth.
