About the council and district
Cache County is governed by a seven‑member County Council; Logan Seat 2 is one of three seats representing Logan residents. The Council exercises legislative authority while a separate County Executive manages day‑to‑day operations. The unexpired term is two years, so the appointee will serve until the end of 2026. Candidates should be familiar with local issues, affordable housing and water management have been recent priorities in the district, and be prepared to represent the interests of northwest Logan.
