KVNU: Rep. Jason Thompson plans legislation to rein in the MIDA board
On KVNU's For The People (Oct. 30, 2026, Hour 1, "Final polls of election"), host Jason Williams walked through what's likely the last public poll before Tuesday's election, including strong opposition to Amendment B in Northern Utah. He tied much of that frustration to the Military Installation Development Authority (MIDA) board's handling of the large data center project in Box Elder County.

In that discussion, Williams pointed listeners to Rep. Jason Thompson, who is running for re-election to the Utah Legislature in House District 3 and is planning to run legislation to rein in the MIDA board itself.
